Renee Olstead's DIY: LaceMask
I was so excited about my recent 'LaceMask' makeup, that I just couldn't wait to share it with the Buzznet community! "Midnight Game" makeup artist Mercedes McCoy recently shared a few tips and tricks with me for a DIY dangerous high-fashion makeup. Chances are, you may already have all of the materials on hand that you need, too!
The Inspiration:

What You Need:
An old bra with lace accents that you're willing to tear up.
(OR) a pair of cheap new black lace panties (the bigger the better, you'll have more material to work with)
Eyelash Glue
A pair of scissors
Eyeliner pencil
Directions:
Cut out a half circle shape, big enough to cover your face from forehead to cheekbone
Using an eyeliner pencil, hold the cut out shape up to your face, and drag the pencil along the lace to mark the areas that you'll need to cut out to make room for your eyes
Using your scissors, cut two holes in your mask for your eyes.

Troubleshoot your mask by holding it back up to your face and making adjustments with your scissors where necessary.
When you've finally fine tuned your mask shape, use eyelash glue to dot across your forehead & adhere the top of your half circle shape as close to your hairline as possible
Working downward, dot glue across the bridge of your nose (don't use too much! easy does it!) and press your lace mask down into it to secure it.
Finally put drops of glue along the sides to secure it, along with a drop here and there where needed.

Ta-da you're done! Go on an adventure!
